So honored

Recently I was asked to participate in a series at Glow in the Woods.  The series centers on the experience of loss from the perspective of faith.  Thus far Islam, Hinduism, Catholicism and now Christianity (the Protestant variety) have been represented.  I am truly honored to have been a part of this and I hope you might go over and take a look.  You need not be a "babylost mama" to read along or comment.  It is open to all who value beauty and love in all its forms.

The timing of this has been in and of itself a gift.  It was nice to be offered the opportunity to tell a new piece of Joseph and Molly's story as we approach their 5th birthday in Heaven.

I hope you'll stop by.

Lori~

I began reading your post, wondering where it would go. My eyes welled when you felt the true awareness of your faith and God.

As you know, I struggle with my relationship with God~I am sure my tears were partly from envy-I admit that, and partly because I remember my own "turning point"--that point at which I somehow knew I would survive and, eventually, thrive again. And, my tears were partly from me, being able to picture you so clearly in that window~full of such sorrow and grief~then finding comfort. I'm so glad you had that experience.

Thank you for sharing this memory and this glimpse into your faith and your life.

It is such a beautiful piece of writing Lori, as well as so very touching. I have been thinking of Molly and Joseph often lately. They (and you and your whole family) were in my heart as I walked last weekend. God bless and take care,
